Misc #7 - Inspiration for Project 3

For project 3 I was really interested in doing a chronophotography type still image. I was planning on taking a series of pictures of my friend while she was dancing at her performance.

However, I realized three things:

1.  Taking repeated images requires a timer, they can't be random
2.  Background needs to be remain the same and not move, else it will not work
3.  It's better to photograph the subject performing the dance multiple times, rather than once

Due to that being a failure I continued to explore the idea of a Tableau. I was really inspired by Gregory Crewdson. I loved the cinematic effect of his work!

So I was thinking about how I could portray the lighting. I certainly don't have a crew to help me out. But I have something better Blender. Blender is a 3D modelling program and a week before working on this assignment I rendered this scene right here. 

At the time I wasn't thinking about this assignment, but a little while later I realized the lighting was very cinematic looking and I could use it for a tableau. So now it's only about constructing a narrative!
